Prof. Dr. Seifert (Germany) is a distinguished senior physician specializing in pediatrics and holds Europe’s first professorship in integrative medicine in pediatrics at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He also serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and contributes as an expert in Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Medicine (TCIM) for the World Health Organization (WHO).
At Charité, Professor Seifert leads a groundbreaking initiative aimed at translating experiential TCIM into evidence-based practices supported by rigorous scientific data. His project seeks to broaden opportunities for individual health promotion, disease prevention, and personalized therapy, with a particular emphasis on children and adolescents. His research interests encompass mind-body medicine, clinical nutrition, and whole medical systems.
Driven by a commitment to harness TCIM for innovation and sustainability in healthcare delivery, Prof. Seifert’s work directly aligns with global WHO strategies.
